J. Kamin Fine Art has decided to close it’s gallery doors (yes, again and this time we mean it) on February 10, 2007.

Jackie will open her new Newport Coast studio at the end of the year. It will feature her work,

Stacy Kamin and a selection of Russian Impressionism.  Also, Jackie and Stacy will be teaching at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art this year, as well having gallery representation outside California.

Dear Art Enthusiasts,

I would like to announce my new endeavor at the Laguna College of Art & Design in Laguna Beach. Most of you know I have been teaching the senior fine art class the ‘Business of Art’ for 4 years, and created the Professional Mentoring Program based on the class. Due to the success of the program and my growing involvement with the College, I have been hired to develop the Career and Job Placement Office. It’s very exciting! The students come from around the world to learn from award winning faculty. LCAD is a fully accredited, private, academic institution for Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation and Fine Art.

In addition, I have my art consulting business, Fine Art Resource and Services.  For more than 15 years, I have been procuring fine art for residential and commercial clients.  I seek emerging talent and other treasures to meet my clients’ needs and interests, and can also make referrals to art restorers, framers and appraisers.
