** CNN’s Lou Dobbs will speak and have book signing on his new
book
“INDEPENDENTS DAY: Awakening the American Spirit” during World Affairs
Council of Orange County Event **
IRVINE, Calif.— The event, hosted by the non-profit organization, the World
Affairs Council of Orange County, in partnership with the Orange County Business
Council, Orange County Forum and British American Business Council is scheduled
for Saturday, November 10 at the Irvine Marriott Hotel at 18000 Von Karman,
Irvine, Ca. 92612. His topic and new book is titled "INDEPENDENTS DAY: Awakening
the American Spirit." The reception will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a dinner
presentation at 7 p.m. and a Q&A after the speech. A book signing will
immediately follow the program. The public is invited to attend.
Lou Dobbs is the anchor and managing editor of CNN’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight”. He
writes for Money and U.S. News & World Report and manages the Lou Dobbs Money
Letter. Mr. Dobbs has won nearly every major award for television journalism. He
has received the Peabody Award, the Luminary Award by the Business Journalism
Review, the Horatio Alger Association Award for Distinguished Americans, as well
as an Emmy Lifetime Achievement award. He graduated from Harvard University with
a degree in economics. Following his speech, Lou Dobbs will be signing copies of
his book, “INDEPENDENTS DAY: Awakening the American Spirit”.

The World Affairs Council of Orange County is a member-driven non-profit
