Fundraiser BBQ for Mayor Mansoor a Great Success!

Members of Gilchrist Angels pose with Mayor Mansoor and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher at the fundraiser BBQ for the mayor.

Over 120 people attended the fundraiser BBQ for Mayor Mansoor of Costa Mesa this Sunday (July 30th).   This event was organized by the Gilchrist Angels to support the Mayor's re-election campaign.  The courageous Mayor Mansoor has led the city's effort to enforce the federal immigration laws within the city.  Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and fellow candidate for city council Wendy Leece were there to show their support.

Delicious food and drinks were available as well as games for kids and raffle prizes.  The highlight of the evening was when a dinner with the mayor was auctioned off.  After a heated bidding session, the prize was shared by two bidders who each put up $500 for the meal.  Mayor Mansoor promised a nice dinner with dessert!

Although there were several open border protesters at the Fairview Park in Costa Mesa, there was  not enough of them to dampen our spirits.  Robin, the president of the Gilchrist Angels said that funds raised were way beyond their goal and expectations.

Mayor Mansoor thanked all who attended the BBQ and sent the donations for the campaign.  For more information on Mayor Mansoor's campaign, please visit his website:
