Houston-based artist Wendy Wagner takes her beloved, whimsical paintings and Qwerkys(tm) to Japan. Gallery Trinity, located at 9-6-19-1F Akasaka in the Roppongi district of central Tokyo, will display the latest collection of Wagner�s paintings as well as her soft sculpture line, the Qwerkys(tm). Claudette Losier will be exhibiting paintings in solo show entitled 'Body Voyage - Return To The Sacred' at Arts Hamilton, Ontario, Canada from June 3rd to July 3rd, 2009.� The opening reception is on Friday June 5th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. The Tufts University Art Gallery proudly presents The Sixth Annual Juried Summer Exhibition on view in the Tisch Gallery from June 4 to August 2, 2009. A year after celebrating its fifth annual exhibition by featuring five site-specific installations, the Tufts University Art Gallery went 'back to basics' in 2009 with an open call to all professional artists living and/or with a studio in three of Tufts' host communities (Grafton, Medford, and Somerville). In an effort to garner the most diverse and accomplished group of artists, Tufts waived its policy by which artists who had participated in a summer exhibition in either of the preceding two years were ineligible to apply.
