Laura's House at hush Restaurant Posh Cocktail Benefit

An elegant red carpet reception at beautiful hush restaurant in Laguna Beach themed "End the Silence of Domestic Violence" will welcome guests with complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on Thursday, June 10 from 6 to 8 p.m, the evening continuing until 11 p.m.  In loving memory of the tragic murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman 16 years ago, the event has been collaborated  in partnership with Laura's House, a non-profit organization whose mission is to the change the social beliefs which perpetuate domestic violence and create a safe space in which to empower individuals and families affected by abuse. 

 

In addition to the delectable cuisine of executive chef Ronnie Arnold, the festive fundraiser will include a silent auction to further the cause of Laura's House.  Special guest speaker will be Tanya Brown, sister of the late Nicole Brown Simpson, and several other celebrity guests are also join the festivities.  Cocktail attire is requested to complement the sumptuous soiree for which minimum donation is $40 through June 8, $50 after that date.  hush is located at 858 South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, phone 949 497-3616,  You may also book reservations online at laurashouse.org & click on events..

Her claim to fame, however she says, was co-authoring with her late-great husband, Forrest Ellison "Skip' Fickling, the eleven world famous Honey West mystery novels which became an ABC TV series in 1965 continuing on to garner a coveted Golden Globe, an Academy nomination and a Mystery Writers of America Edgar Allen Poe award.
