The CIA and Torture

In 2005 it began to become widely known (to the public) that the CIA routinely practices torture (or rather, outsources this to Syria, Egypt and other countries) and routinely abducts people and flies them around the world to be interrogated in torture centers. Here are some articles on this site relating to this:

Bush to CIA: 'Leave No Marks'

My wake-up call: Watch for another 9/11-WMD experience
False flag “terrorist” strikes could be orchestrated in the US. The Bush administration has already infiltrated some dissident groups and encouraged them to participate in terrorist talk, for which they were arrested. It is possible that the administration could provoke some groups to actual acts of violence.

FBI hunts homegrown al-Qaida leader
Ex-Floridian called one of most well-trained, intelligent, deadly operatives

Family home
A friend brings food to the Miramar house believed to be the last-known address of Adnan El’Shukri-Jumah. FBI agents searched the home in the 6000 block of Southwest W 27th Street on Thursday as they issued a nationwide alert to police departments to be on the lookout for the suspected terrorist. Agents have described El’Shukri-Jumah as the ultimate al-Qaida “sleeper agent”, intent on attacking the United States, possibly with weapons of mass destruction. His mother, Zuhrah Abdu Ahmed, insists her son is innocent.

9-11: FIVE YEARS LATER, A TIME FOR TRUTH
An objective examination of increasingly popular Sept. 11 conspiracy theories

These photos below were taken at Ground Zero, the World Trade Center site in New York, on September 13, 2001.

They were taken by someone named "Ed" who was allowed into the area by a member of the emergency response crew, at a time when all civilians -- including most journalists -- were forbidden to enter the area. As a result, these photos are just about the only close-ups ever taken of the World Trade Center site so soon after the 9/11 attacks.
