According to the report. Baldwin's sister, Kelley Renezeder, said the cause of the crash remained unknown Sunday night. While they wait for answers, the family is celebrating the life of a man who "lived life to the fullest," she said.

"It was his time to go. We will all learn in our way why he died," said Renezeder, 39, who last saw her brother Friday, while he competed in Mexico. "He did not die as though he never lived. He lived each day to the fullest."

She said Teneyck, who lived in Wyoming, and Baldwin went to Laguna Beach High School together.

According to sheriff's Lt. Erin Giudice "underwater search and recovery team located the nearly intact Cessna 210 by sonar after it went down around 2 p.m.

Holding a press conference at the Sheriff's Harbor Patrol office in Dana Point Harbor. Lt. No identities were officially released today and are expected only after recovery Sheriff spokesmen Jim Amormino said. However Jason's Father made it official this evening by telling the media it was his son. The plane took off from San Felipe, Mexico, made a stop in San Diego during good weather and was headed for John Wayne Airport according to U.S. Customs. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The Journal has learned 36-year-old Rick Olauson (oh-law'-son), was the son of OPUS Building Corporation founding partner and president Willard Olauson a prominent Calgary businessman. Rick Olauson was the head of the OPUS subsidiary OPTIMUS in California.

According to the Orange County Register, the plane is registered to a Newport Beach company, TR Builder Corp. on Newport Center Drive, according to Federal Aviation Administration records. The president of the general contractor is Alfred E. Baldwin, 62, a resident of Emerald Bay in Laguna Beach, public records show. Brothers Alfred and James Baldwin earlier co-owned the Baldwin Co., a homebuilding giant until declared bankrupt in 1995.

Jason Baldwin's father, James, said from his Laguna Beach home "my son Jason was on the plane according to the Coast Guard."  Neighbors told the Journal that they believe Jason was on the plane that crashed and that the Dad was taking a helicopter to look over the seen."

Jason Baldwin and his younger brother Josh 29 were in Mexico for the Baja 1000 off-road race. Josh is believed not to be on the Cessna 210 that went down taking his brothers life the cause of that crash is still unknown.

Both brothers are well-known in off-road racing.  Father, James Baldwin, a former desert racer himself, purchased the off-road racing entity Championship Off-Road
Racing, the sanctioning body for off-road events held at Crandon International Off-Road
Raceway.

The Cessna, reported to have taken off from San Felipe, Mexico, Saturday morning and stopped in San Diego for customs check. The plane then left Brown Field Municipal Airport for Orange County's John Wayne International Airport.  An emergency call went out at 2:03 p.m. from Capt. Jim Wehan, on the historical Tall Ship Spirit of Dana Point.

Wehan, his crew and about 38 passengers were three miles out on a routine day sail when Wehan heard first mate John Kraus, 34, yelling from the bow...He first thought they had sighted a whale " I could then see it was a small aircraft, it did not stay up long, it started sinking almost immediately. We launched our small boat but by the time we got there it was gone with only what appeared to be a fuel slick on flat water."

The brothers were believed in San Felipe, Mexico, for the Baja 1000 off-road race where they finished sixth and nineteenth out of a field of 342 respectively.                                                                                                                                            Capt.
